Meet Rick G. Baker

Rick G. Baker is a best-selling author of four books, a former talk radio show host, and publisher of numerous newspapers and golf magazines.

His true crime book, “No Goodbyes,” about the McStay family murders, gave us insights that no one else had, including access to the family's compete email database. It’s still the gold standard for the case. Rick thinks the real culprits are family members, not Chase Merritt, who was found guilty of the four murders. 

Rick became involved in breast cancer awareness and support after his wife, Becky Baker, was diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer in 2013 and passed away in 2017. 

His personal journey led him to launch The Becky Baker Foundation to honor his wife and raise awareness and provide resources related to breast cancer. 

He also authored the book, "The Guy's Guide to Everything Breast Cancer", an easy-to-read guide for men and those who care for them to understand breast cancer and provide support. 

The Becky Baker Foundation, founded in May 2017, offers various forms of support, including providing free mammograms and thermograms to women who cannot afford them and operates the Survivors Resource Center in Pueblo, Colorado, where families affected by breast cancer can receive new merchandise for free. Since 2024, the Center has given away over $6 million dollars in free merchandise to over 21,000 breast cancer families.

Rick's book "The Guy's Guide to Everything Breast Cancer" shares his personal experiences, Becky's journey, and important information about breast cancer. The book covers topics such as breast anatomy, how cancer starts, prevention strategies, and how to support loved ones with the disease. Rick's commitment to honoring Becky's legacy and supporting others affected by breast cancer demonstrates the profound impact this disease had on his life and his efforts to make a difference in the lives of others.

Rick is on the golf course every chance he gets, and played on the Sunbelt Senior Tour for six years.
